a much better-looking diamond. Such enhancement is a cosmetic process and
does not alter the other characteristics of a diamond.
Laser Drilling and Fracture Fill
The representative photo above shows some visible inclusions in a natural diamond.
Such inclusions can be filled up with transparent material with refractive
index close to that of natural diamond. This diminishes the visible inclusions
in a diamond and produces a better-looking diamond.
Drilling microscopic tunnel and then injecting solvents to dissolve or bleach the inclusions is used to reduce or
eliminate blackish inclusions.
Procedure and Pricing
Submit the diamonds to be clarity enhanced to our office in
New York City. Our in-house experts will inspect the diamonds
to determine suitability of stone for clarity enhancement.
The expected results will be communicated to the client.
At this point we require the clients final approval and acceptance
of our terms to process the diamond.
On client's approval, the diamond is submitted to our lab for
clarity enhancement. This process usually takes 3 to 7 business
days. The stone is returned to the client as soon as it is ready.

before sending the diamonds. A local resident can set up an appointment
and come in personally to submit the diamond for processing.
Pricing for the clarity enhancement depends on the specific needs.
It is determined based on clarity enhancement procedure necessary,
size of the diamond submitted, total number of stones submitted, etc.
